Autumn Offerings
This has never been my favorite time of year, but it does have its good qualities, especially in the realms of light, color, temperatures and amazing things to eat. As the air conditioners are now removed to winter storage, as I add another quilt to bedtime, as the Union Square Greenmarket displays the irresistible ingredients of a borscht (now made), and the greens in city foliage begin to verge onto the warmer end of the color spectrum, it’s time to share some autumnal landscapes and still lifes from my studio.
